Effect of the Cause

I love that God never intended for us to fumble through our day without direction! God's word when applied to our life and days specifically becomes a cause. Our life becomes an effect.
If you are feeling out of control, plug into a steady, eternal foundation. Accept stability in your life.
Allow God to be the cause, not just a correlation, in your family, your marriage and in your life.

You live what you speak! You live what you believe...

My family and I hiked up (rather rock climbed up) Mt. Monadnock. This is very uncharacteristic of my family. My husband filmed the whole thing. The opportunity grew us and transformed us as a family.  We will never be the same. We conquered the mountain.  We exercised the dominion that God had called us to, as a family, in his original plan! It was awesome. My husband even led us in prayer halfway and dedicated the journey to God. Wow, how far we have come!
As moms, God has given us the amazing and powerful ability to use words to create and change situations. Today, there are situations that God has given you authority to speak into. There are mountains in your family that God has given you both the permission and authority to move.  All together now, "Mountain, move, in the name of Jesus!"

Matthew 17:20

So Jesus said to them, "Because of your unbelief; for
assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed,
you will say to this mountain, `Move from here to there,' and
it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

Get on the good foot!

This morning I looked up the word "bold." One of the definitions popped out at me...Clear and distinct to the eye; conspicuous. (No pun intended, ladies!)
I cannot count how many times I have been called to be bold, but then just wanted to blend in. Turns out that I cannot have it both ways. I cannot say that the Lord is my strength and the Lord is my helper and then try to blend in with status quo. The very fact that the Lord is my strength and my helper is anti-status quo. This help and strength makes a life conspicuous and clear, distinct to the eye.

So today, I get it. It is time for me learn to move comfortably in boldness...which is at times very uncomfortable. It really is straining ahead while leaving things behind...uncomfortable.

The good news is that I am assured to win the prize in Christ Jesus. I am assured to move in God's purpose for my life, my marriage, and my family. That is the legacy that I am compelled to leave behind.

Hebrews 13:6

So we may boldly say: "The Lord is my helper; I will not fear.
What can man do to me?"

The truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth...Help me GOD!

2 Corinthians 6:16 And what union can there be between God's temple and idols? For you are God's temple, the home of the living God, and God has said of you, "I will live in them and walk among them, and I will be their God and they shall be my people." Living

Today is a day to be encouraged! God's truth of who we are as
mothers speaks a better word over us than our own shallow ideas.
God's truth about who we are is superior than anyone else's
opinion. Sure, people may have the best of intentions for us, but
if it is not based on God's full truth, it is a lie. Lies undermine us
and misdirect us, as mothers. Lies undermine and misdirect
our path, family, and children.
We know that the truth sets us free. We need to also remember
and be downright encouraged that the truth sets us free to become
who God says we are!
This day be in agreement with who God says you are!

Be encouraged!

Enough with this fear of failure business!

1 Corinthians 15:58

So, my dear friends, do not be shaken in your faith by the
threat of death. Hold steady, don't let anything throw you.
Keep doing the Lord's work because you are aware of its worth
now and your reward in the future.

What is the best remedy for a looming fear of failure?
Don't be shaken in your faith
  • Keep on going moms! Each day is a new day. Greet each day with hope and gratitude.Keep loving your husband and keep loving your children.
  • You are aware of its worth and value now and the lasting effects in the future.
  • The attitude you display today will be magnified in your marriage and children in the future. Keep it tight and Keep it right!

No more threats of death in Christ Jesus! No more fear of failure in His unending,
powerful love!

Be encouraged!

I got all I need all the time...and in every way!

As moms, we sometimes feel our shortcomings define us. But we need to be encouraged this day that we have all we need at all times. That is God truth spoken over our lives, our marriage, our children...our family! We are ready for every good work...more than ready. We are poised to abound.
Verb1.aboundabound - be abundant or plentiful; exist in large quantities

That which I receive, I am able and required to give in an unending supply.

2 Corinthians 9:8
And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

Directions, please?

I breath a big sigh of relief this morning. It is good to know that even though we are imperfect (check out the new title of the blog...the "daily" thing is not happening at the moment!) we can receive direction from God himself who is perfect. He is above space and time and knows where I need to go and what I need to accomplish as a mom, as a wife, as a woman in the Kingdom of God. He knows and has specialized counsel and help for me! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! I am more than OK! I am more than accomplished with His Hand and His Help.

“This is what the LORD says— your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: "I am the LORD your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go.”Isaiah 48:17
